About Paul A. Kapitz Attorney at Law
Mr. Kapitz attended the University of New Mexico, in Albuquerque, where he graduated in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and was awarded cum laude in general honors. Mr. Kapitz then attended the University of New Mexico law school, where he graduated in 1989. He was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar in October 1989.
Mr. Kapitz practiced law in New Mexico until 1994, when he relocated with his wife and children to Reno, Nevada. While in New Mexico, Mr. Kapitz worked on a wide variety of civil matters and, most notably, represented the Chapter 13 Bankruptcy Trustee for the district of New Mexico.
Upon arriving in Nevada, Mr. Kapitz went to work for State Farm Insurance in the automobile liability claims department. Mr. Kapitz was admitted to the Nevada State Bar in October 1994. Mr. Kapitz then went to work for a defense firm that focused its work exclusively in the area of insurance defense. These two work experiences provided Mr. Kapitz with a tremendous amount of knowledge in the area of personal injury law, particularly in the area of motor vehicle accidents.
